Communication Policy

This form explains the general terms of communication with The Hive Women's Wellness, PLLC. 

1. Types of Communication: 

This consent allows all provider(s) and or other employees at The Hive Women's Wellness, PLLC. to communicate with you via email, phone, zoom and or text messages regarding: 

- Appointment reminders and confirmations 

- Non-urgent test results 

- General inquiries about your health (with clear limitations, see below) 

- Administrative matters related to your care 

2. Limitations of Electronic Communication: 

If you have a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Complex Issues: Some health issues are too complex to discuss via email. Your provider may suggest a phone call or in-person appointment. 

3. Response Time: 

We strive to respond to emails sent to: thehiveofficemanager@gmail.com within 1 business day. Please note, responses may be delayed due to office hours, holidays or unforeseen circumstances. 

4. Security: 

We take reasonable precautions to protect your privacy, but email is not completely secure. 

5. Thyroid Management Calls: 

For ongoing thyroid management, dedicated phone calls will be scheduled on Tuesdays and OR Fridays during normal business hours, unless deemed urgent by your doctor. If you experience a medical emergency related to your thyroid, please call 911 immediately. Urgent concerns outside of scheduled call times should be communicated via phone,

6. Consent: 

This form acknowledges that you have read and understood the above information and agree to communicate with The Hive Women's Wellness, PLLC. via phone, text message, zoom or email for the purposes outlined above. You understand that there may be times when responses to your questions or requests exceed the one-business-day expectation due to factors like office hours, unforeseen circumstances, or holidays. You understand that You also understand that email is not appropriate for emergencies and that you will seek immediate medical attention if needed.

You may revoke this consent at any time by contacting our office in writing. 

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time and will provide you with reasonable notice of any changes.
